Relay Delay

Description
This circuit waits for a set time and then activates a relay.

With the cap that is in the schematic you will get about a 6 sec delay till power on. You can change the cap in this circuit to 470uF for about a 20 sec delay.

Partlist
2 x resistor
3 x transistor
1 x diode
1 x capacitor
1 x relay
Misc some wire, a board, etc.

Will this have any delay for turning off? I noticed there are circuits that delay either the on or off state, does this mean that one can not do both?
Thanks

can this circuit be triggered after main power is cut? For example when you turn the key in a car to the acc position it gives the radio power. when you turn the car off the radio shuts off. If i had something else in the car running on acc power is there any way to make this switch activate 6 seconds after the key is removed.
